The Man Next Door Knows

The Man Next Door Knows in brief

Amanda's husband lives more of his life at airport gates than he does in their marriage. When the new man next door picks up on little things she's long forgotten, she risks everything to feel seen once more.

The Man Next Door Knows is a regular Candy Shorts series, 9 episodes long, filed by Candy under wife and taboo. Like everything on Candy Shorts it is a vertical video series made with AI and played in the candy.ai player.

Episode by episode

Candy names the episodes by number only, so this is the full run as the player shows it: what each one unlocks and what it costs.

1. Episode 1free, no sign-in at all
2. Episode 2free once you sign up (no charge)
3. Episode 312 tokens
4. Episode 412 tokens
5. Episode 512 tokens
6. Episode 612 tokens
7. Episode 712 tokens
8. Episode 812 tokens
9. Episode 912 tokens

What the whole series costs

The full run of 9 episodes adds up to 84 tokens, since 7 of them are paid at 12 tokens apiece and 2 cost nothing. Premium adds 100 tokens a month, which covers 8 episodes of this series, so the monthly allowance alone gets you to the end in 1 month.

Premium itself is listed on candy.ai from $3.99/month on the yearly plan; we re-read the plan page every two hours and keep the numbers on the Premium prices page.

Who is in it

Candy credits Amanda Langford in the cast block under the player. On candy.ai each of those names also opens a chat with that character.

No named adult performer is credited on The Man Next Door Knows, so its paid episodes are priced as a regular series: 12 tokens each.

Free and paid episodes

Open The Man Next Door Knows and episode 1 starts with no sign-in. For episode 2 Candy wants a free account, and every episode from the third on is 12 tokens.

That puts 2 of 9 episodes (22%) on the free side. Tokens come with Premium, 100 a month; Candy shows the token price on every locked episode before you spend anything.

How explicit is it?

The Man Next Door Knows sits on Candy’s regular shelf: anyone can start episode 1 without signing in, and Candy does not flag it as spicy adult content. It is still a series for adults, built on wife and taboo themes.

What Candy does and does not show is covered in nudity on Candy Shorts and the spicy shelf explained.

Who it is for

Candy’s tags are the quickest way to tell whether The Man Next Door Knows is your kind of story. Every character is an adult.

• Wife: a married woman, with the marriage itself at stake.
• Taboo: stories built on an attraction the characters are not supposed to act on: step-relatives, in-laws, a partner’s family or friends.
• Length: 9 episodes, longer than the usual five.

Our take

• It fits in one month of Premium tokens: 84 of the 100.
• The free episodes (2 of 9) are enough to tell whether the story works for you before you spend a token.

How it compares

Among the 174 regular series with a published episode list, the typical one costs 36 tokens to finish. The Man Next Door Knows costs 84, more than the typical regular series; 151 regular series are cheaper to complete. With 9 episodes it is longer than most on the regular shelf.

Before you watch

• Candy Shorts is for adults only; the site asks you to confirm you are 18 or older.
• A free account is needed from episode 2.
• Premium is billed by EverAI Limited, a company based in Malta, and shows up as EverAI on your statement.
• Per Candy, Premium stops whenever you switch it off in the settings page; left alone, it renews.
• Prices appear in your local currency and taxes can change the final figure.
